I did it ! I got my first job--well, the first one after graduating from college; the first one that matters, so far! It feels pretty amazing and I can't wait to get started. It's been pretty hard being a professional couch potatoe/cafe transplant. I did manage to devote endless hours to some great books and records. No more waking up late and drinking coffee at noon. I'm all about the 7am start day now and finding the right buses that get me to work on time. I'm truly happy to be in the job that I landed, cause I get to work with some amazing and passionate people...and hopefully I get to make a small difference. After all, that's why we graduate in the first place, right?
Well, I have been in search of a bike lately. And, being the nerd that I am, my main criteria for this spectacular bike is that it must have a basket! Sounds silly, but that's all I really want. I may be starting my first so-called "real" grown up job soon, so I need a silly, silly bike that lets my short hair wisp through the breeze. It has been my main mission for the past couple of days. It would be really cool if stingrays came in my size?!
